At the end of the day, we’re all adults. I want the team to really own their desk so to speak, so leading with trust and doing my best to ensure everyone feels empowered to do their best work. I really want to know how each and every one of them is doing both in their role at work and outside of Zoom as well.
I work at Recharge, the leading subscription management solution, where I lead the technical recruiting team.

What are the components of a strong remote culture?
Culture really seeps through the computer screen at Recharge. The company's values are built into the DNA of everything we do. We truly value our values which is the foundation of a strong culture. Part of that culture is realizing we’re all human and have lives outside of the company and caring about that as well.
A quote from one of our leaders comes to mind which is, “the success of remote is in-person.” The in-person interaction is undeniably indispensable when it comes to building a sense of community within the team.
Strong remote cultures are built on strong connections. Strong connections are built with Hailey.
