I am a Talent Acquisition Manager for Snowplow Analytics.
Snowplow is a behavioral data platform, built to empower data teams to capture and operationalize behavioral data at scale. Released in 2012, Snowplow was initially launched as an open-source project to free data professionals from the limitations of traditional analytics solutions which act as ‘black-boxes’ offering little transparency or control over your data. The Snowplow pipeline runs in your cloud account (AWS and/or GCP), giving you complete ownership of your data. Snowplow frees you to ask and answer any questions relevant to your business and use case, using your preferred tools and technologies.

What are the components of a strong remote culture?
Building the remote workstyle into the culture is imperative. If a company doesn’t highlight the benefits of remote work, it can lead to employees feeling disengaged or lead to remote loneliness.
Having multiple ways for the team to stay engaged with each other. Invest in instant messaging platforms such as Slack, Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
Have ‘non-work’ meetings where the team comes together to chat as if they were all in the office together.
Understanding that we are in a ‘new normal’ for the working culture. Employers need to demonstrate flexibility for employees in their work days.
Strong remote cultures are built on strong connections. Strong connections are built with Hailey.
How do you make sure your team is happy and engaged in their work?
Have ‘non-work’ meetings where the team comes together to chat as if they were all in the office together.
