I work at Klaviyo and have been here since October 2021. I am our EMEA Director of Talent Acquisition, looking after TA outside of the US. Previously I was running the global TA team at Bazaarvoice where I worked for 12 years.
Tell us about your team!
How big is it?
My team today is three people, one senior recruiter focusing on the sales side of the business and another on the success (services and account management) side. We have also just recently hired a Recruitment Coordinator and have another recruiter joining later this month. We are setting up the team now to manage the volume of recruiting that we will have in 2022.
Where are your teammates located?
My team as it stands are all based in London. In my previous role I had a team across the US, UK, Lithuania, and India.Â
What does your team do? What are you responsible for?
We are responsible for:
Managing open requisitions across all teams outside of EMEA.
Ensuring an exceptional candidate experience every time.
Developing strong and lasting partnerships with hiring managers.Â
Ensuring a fair and equitable recruitment process.
To elaborate further, our recruiters are:
Strategic partners to the business able to identify and source the best matched talent in the market through multiple channels.
Offering an outstanding candidate experience, every time, encompassing:
Hiring for Klaviyo values and core competencies for the role.
A fair process free from bias in line with DE&I goals at Klaviyo.
Big picture thinkers where work on delivery and strategic initiatives enables us to get ahead of the hiring curve.
What are the components of a strong remote culture?
Clear expectation setting around communication cadence on projects, expectations of everyone, and recognition to proactively ‘fill in the social gaps’ that remote culture generates.
Strong remote cultures are built on strong connections. Strong connections are built with Hailey.
